We are providers of Health and Safety services and advice. We offer a varied and comprehensive consultancy service ensuring a sensible approach is taken to health and safety management and ultimately leading legal compliance and healthy workers.
What we believe in
We believe that health and safety should be a fundamental and integral part of each and every business, everyone has the right to go home in the same physical and mental condition in which they arrived for work. We are committed to a process of life-long learning, development and improvement and have a wish that this is shared with our clients, partners and workers.
The effective management of health and safety is more than achieving minimal compliance. With our involvement we believe that there are far more benefits in improving your organisations health and safety performance.
Where we work
Resilient Risk Management is based in North Yorkshire and is unrestricted by distance or geography. Our current client base is roughly located between Aberdeen, London and Swansea which allows us to travel to and commit to work pretty much throughout the UK with ease.
What we will not do
- Take on work which is outside of our competency. If we can’t help, it is likely that we can suggest a company or individual who can and we will hand over their details to you (and not to them).
- Provide you with documents and paper work which is full of unnecessary jargon and unnecessary legal references.
- Charge you based on your head count or turnover, it makes no sense to us and it does not create a long-standing relationship.
- Provide an off the shelf solution to your problems, in our experience there really is no such thing.
- Sugar coat a situation where you may have got something wrong, but we will help you formulate a plan to prevent it happening again.

Ellis Baker CMIOSH FIIRSM
Ellis is the owner, lead consultant and an experienced Health, Safety & Risk professional who works with a confident manner and has a wide range of evidencable skills. He is listed on the Occupational Safety & Health Consultant Register (OSHCR) and his experience is borne out of working within many industry sectors (manufacturing, construction, engineering, fabrication, service, military, sub-sea, etc). Due to the diversity of these experiences Ellis can rationalise complicated situations and provide practical solutions or guidance as necessary. He demonstrates a flexible, thoughtful and considered communication style which is used to influence multiple stakeholders at all levels within an organisation. Ellis’ preferred method of working is from within existing management teams either as the health and safety lead or as a direct advisor to the team with a very definite ‘working with and alongside you’ rather than ‘for you’ approach.
